In search of Spider Consciousness
In the middle of a desert, under the blazing desert sun, rest the remnants of a great creature. The inside may be hollow, but it is not empty. As the sun goes down, lucky Nobodies may find themselves discovering the ghost of the arthropod consciousness. There is a place to lie down and observe what intricate imagery, light and sound might appear in the spider’s head. The ghost is still present. It is alive. Does it perceive differently from us? What does it see? How does it represent the world around it? Does it perceive us?
